Traffic Safety Communication Network
$42.0MUpgrades citywide traffic control network to enhance communication between traffic management staff and traffic signals, school zone flashers, cameras, sensors, and electronic message signs. Designed to decrease response time to crashes, congestion, and signal issues.
Public Safety Southern Resource Center
$33.2MMultipurpose public safety resource center in southern Grand Prairie to provide programs and services closer to residents. May include public safety services to improve response times in the SH 360–US 287 corridor. Specific site not yet selected — bond includes acquisition costs.
North Radio Tower Replacement
$3.3MReplaces current tower at 2201 109th Street, built 25+ years ago. Maintains and improves public safety radio coverage as city growth patterns have shifted.
